HELP
TWIG logs me out every time I click on a mail message.
This is normally caused by incorrect time or timezone settings on your computer, and only when using Internet Explorer.
Under Windows, you can normally change the time settings by double-clicking on the time field in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

TWIG is not accepting my password.
Your username and password with us is CASE-SENSITIVE, make sure you are using the right capitalization when typing it in. (Your username should be all lowercase.) Also when it asks for your USERNAME, make sure you are just using the username and not your full email address. (i.e. if your email address is johndoe@scc.net, you would just use johndoe for the username.)

Also, if your password contains a backslash character ('\'), TWIG will not accept it.

I cannot check my email from the Sound Internet Webmail page
Sound Internet uses TWIG for web-based email access. WebMail requires the use of cookies in your web-browser, you must have cookies ENABLED for WebMail to work properly.
In Netscape 4.0 or above, you can find this setting by clicking on Edit and choosing Preferences. Then under the category field click on Advanced, and make sure that you have cookies enabled.
If you are using Internet Explorer, Click Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab and locate the option for cookies.

I added an item (to schedule/bookmarks/etc.) and every time I hit the reload button it gets added again. What's wrong?
As the doctor said, don't do that! When you add an item in webmail the data is sent as a POST form, each time you hit reload on your browser it reposts the data, re-adding the item. You should NEVER use the back button in TWIG, always uses one of the supplied links to get back to where you want to be.

I'm using the news feature and would like to be able to read the articles in a threaded list. Is that possible?
No, due to the limitations of being in a stateless environment, webmail does not support threaded news reading nor will it in the future.

When I try sending an attachment in my email message, the second attachment always seems to replace the first file. How can I send more than one file?
Send more than one email message. Currently, WebMail only supports one file attachment at a time.

Sometimes I get a PHP error something or other when using the WebMail program.
We are aware of this happening from time to time, and no fix is in sight for this. The software is quite complex and many programs are interacting with each other to support this service. Patches will be installed as they become available. Please bear with us. If you wish to report a problem, please send your questions and trouble reports via email to staff@scc.net. Sound Internet will not take telephone calls on this service at this time. ABOUT
What is WebMail? Webmail is an installation of the software called TWIG, or "The Web Internet Gateway". TWIG is rapidly becoming a very useful intranet/groupware tool and application framework. It is written and implemented completely with the PHP programming language. Our intention is that it will become a simple, cross-platform, fast, and browser-independant way to access or share email when traveling or at work (when behind a firewall).

FEATURES
Because of the modular design of TWIG, it is fairly simple to add new features when they are introduced. Here are the main features that TWIG currently supports:

More features are planned, and future features should be simple to add due to TWIG's fairly modular construction.
